Do you have experience with Taft AC?
Wondering if kids like it, stay there for HS or move on…
Not our first choice due to long commute, yet offered today and trying to figure out more before we decide.
Any feedback/help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi! Congrats!
I didn’t get anything here but I did receive a lot of positive feedback from a few current Taft 8th and 7th grade students that fed from our current school. The kids I got info from love the teachers and classes. They take many high school classes in 7th and 8th grade that do give them high school credits when moving up or transferring allowing them to go straight to AP courses as freshman in HS. They like the high school environment, great student and staff body.
While some kids opted to stay for HS in IB Diploma Program, this year many got into their SEHS choice such as Payton, Northside, WY, Jones etc.For us it’s the logistics of commute that make it hard, but so far I think we are leaning into accepting. Good luck !
