My child got offered a spot with Keller for Grade 1. I’m debating whether to accept as it’s far from where I live.
She’s currently attending Kindergarten with Skinner neighborhood program. I have no complaints with neighborhood program since she’s in the advanced group where kids are learning 1 grade up like any classical school.
Would love to hear from parents who send their kid(s) to Keller their thoughts about the school- good and bad.
Thanks,

Congrats. Keller is considered the best SEES in CPS. Please review its ranking and rating. It’s as good as Lab School.

It’s my daughter’s desired school but she didn’t get the offer. I have few friends whose kids are there and their class curriculum is 1.5 to 2 grade advance than non gifted ones.
What were your child’s test results?
Thanks,
BB

Thanks! We will have to decline since it wasn’t our first choice and also the long distance from where we live.
My child’s score is 129.

My son tested for the academic centers as well as Keller and Skinner North. Unfortunately didn’t score high enough for the academic centers, tier 3 address, but did receive offer for Keller. He’s entering 7th grade and I’m wondering if anyone can share information about this grade level.
