My daughter got in with a low score of 116. I acknowledge that, does that mean that the school is bad? Does anyone have any experience with the school? Or children offered a spot for the school’s 1st grade SEES program?

My boy is in the first grade.
his score was 134.
the school is a hidden germ..I like Mrs.Slaiwa. she is very organized.
but he is going to transfer to Decatur since he just got an offer and it is closer from my place.

My son is in 1st at Beaubien and so far it has been a good experience. The teacher is lovely and challenges the kids with a mix of regular work and longer special projects. We have never set foot in the school due to COVID, but have been happy with the leadership, parent community etc. I think Beaubien is often overlooked since it starts with 1st and not K like the rest of the RGCs.
