He’s going to 3rd grade.

Is he a sibling?  SW offered NO spots last year to the magnet program, even to classical siblings.  This year may or may not be different.  They are under pressure to reduce class size.  Congrats on being #1 – if they open up seats you will be the first after the siblings, if there are any for 3rd  grade.  they may not release those offers until fall, when they see who from the neighborhood shows up.  Many don’t register until August.
