Hi– May I ask if you like LTAC and why kids transfer out? My kid got an offer as well so trying to get some insights from current LTAC kids and/or parents out there.

Well I guess you could start with a specific question. Virtual learning makes it hard to really see what LTAC is actually like.

My son will be 7th grade this fall, and we are not in chicago area yet, can he apply 8th grade for LTAC? he is totally into science and tech.

In all likelihood, no.

you mean there not much possiblity he will get into LTAC in 8th grade.
Our family is going to move to chicago at the end of year. I don’t want him have to change schools for the next three years.

There is no application process for entering 8th grade at ACs.

It is possible to apply for 8th grade spots at Selective Enrollment Elementary Schools.
