Hello! I live in the suburbs and I’m entering 8th grade for the 2021-2022 school year and if I’m correct, I should be taking the test during the fall or winter? I was wondering if anyone can inform me on where on the CPS website I would be able to find out how to hopefully test for eligibility. I’m just worried about being too late considering some people have missed their shot and never got a chance afterwards…

      Hello,

If you are not in the cps school system, you need to go the cps website and obtain a CPS ID (atleast that was the process we followed last year when my child was in 8th grade and in suburbs).  The office of access and enrollment will detail you the steps that is required for you to register.  I am assuming you are looking to apply for SEHS.  Please call 773-553-2060
