4 weeks in, still open Classical seats.  My child (4th) had 3 kids leave and they did not fill it.  K is running 25 kids.  1st grade 27.  No clue what is going on.  New principal.

Its because there’s a ton of pressure from a few neighborhood parents who want resources dedicated to classical programs diverted to the neighborhood one.

If the classical program dwindles, the school loses funding overall. Based on how much fundraising has raised before, it is no where near the millions of dollars lost. A walkathon and selling ice cream raises 1% of the budget.

As a neighborhood parent, I want my kid to have more but they need to be smart about it. I dont have a few million laying around to donate.
