      Hello all,

My ex husband moved to the suburbs and his commute on his school days is very long.  Are there any openings/ways to apply after the cutoff date of December 8 2022?  I was hoping to submit some between now and the start of the 2023/2024 school year.

I don’t think so. Call the Office of Access and Enrollment.

You can apply when the rolling waitlist process opens in the spring. It should open about 3 weeks after initial offers are released.

Depends which type of cps school you are interested in. The selective enrollment high schools probably do not accept applications after the December deadline. Other schools like elementary, Choice HS, or neighborhood have the second round of applications.
