Hi there! We’re applying for Kindergarten and I’m trying to understand the timing of the gifted test. If we apply to RGCs now, can we schedule the test for a few months from now (late December / January) or would it have to be something more near term (November / December)?

I know testing dates will continue to be added as needed, but I wasn’t sure if that was primarily done to accommodate reschedules and later applicants. I was hoping we could go ahead and submit our application now, but schedule the test a little further out so we have some time to “prep” (used loosely as I realize there’s not a ton you can do here).

I called the GoCPS hotline today and they weren’t much help, so hoping someone here can provide some clarity on scheduling. Thanks!
