I wanted to see how people think of SEES vs good magnets based on lottery? And maybe you can help me navigate my case when having relatively bad (?) neighborhood school – Ogden.

My thoughts are that magnet entry is in K and no more exams along the way to stay, while in SEES entry is K, and exams before 1 and 5. How often for kids to not be ranked to SEES after getting in the K and then before 1 and 5?

I heard that good magnets are similar to SEES and it might be a safe bet just to go to magnet if we win the lottery than to go to SEES. So if we win the lottery and admitted to SEES for K – would it be better to go to magnet due to more educational stability and security? Or if you get into SEES – it’s very rare not to get into 1 and 5 grades?

PS I do have many assumptions here, so if you have any different thoughts – please correct me.
