Curious, are other HS families getting emails for schools they declined? We accepted the selective offer right away but then started getting welcome emails from our neighborhood school and top choice school as well. I don’t remember this happening the last time I had a kid in the process!

Yes, we were also receiving emails from our Choice offer school, even after accepting a SEHS offer. Eventually, we had the option to opt out. Additionally, my daughter was waitlisted for ALL of our elementary picks, but we still got emails from the Choice School we’d applied to until the deadline passed (they indicated in emails this was because they expected the waitlist to move quite a bit and wanted us to be in the loop on tours, etc. even if we didn’t make the cut the first round.)
