GuestMy son was accepted into Hawthorne and Bell RGC for Kindergarten both of which were our top choices. We also have offers to Catherine Cook and Alphonsus Academy of the Arts. I’ve toured all the schools and they all seem great! They also all seem to be very strong academically despite being varying in class sizes. Bell RGC is the furthest away being 20-25 minute without traffic. All the others are 10 mins away. We are currently at LPP and he thrives in the play based learning. His strenghts are stem and literacy. We also have a younger sibling to take into consideration, and I would need to utilize after school care. Finally community is a big priority for our family. Would love to hear feedback! Thank you!

GuestCongratulations on two great offers! Bell was our top SE ranked school and Hawthorne was the 1st choice. I’d personally choose Bell over Hawthorne.

GuestI would also choose Bell RGC over Hawthorne. It is a wonderful school with so many resources and outstanding community. Hawthorne is great too, but you will always be just in a lottery melting pot. Bell RGC is a top notch program with very strong kids and teachers, and parents there are just so engaged and involved (in a good way), and for me it would be a priority to surround my kids with like-minded smart kids who have clear focus and ability to study 1-2 grades above the grade level. You are extremely lucky to get into Bell RGC, it is a very rare opportunity.
