Haven’t seen anything for elementary CPS letters but high school CPS letters will go out on 3/30/18 and they have a ton of info on how they select students, issue offers, and how students accept or decline offers, etc. https://go.cps.edu/selection/high-school
Also a print version: https://go.cps.edu/assets/pdf/english_full_guide.pdf- This reply was modified 6 years, 7 months ago by chicagoschooloptions.

CPS Elementary (Open Enrollment, SEES, Magnet) & Preschool (Mayer, Suder, Drummond & Inter-American) will go out via the GoCPS portal on April 27, 2018. First round decisions due May 11, 2018. https://go.cps.edu/

Thanks for information. Our son took the SEES exam and we are anxiously waiting to know if he gets accepted.

I just learned that notifications for elementary SEES results is April 27th this year. I am outraged that it has been moved this late! I also applied to private schools and absolutely cannot ask for a month’s worth of extension to commit. Meanwhile, the deposits are no refundable and hefty! I feel like parents are trapped in this crazy bureaucracy and have to shell out unnecessary money to private schools. I wished CPS was more thoughtful about this change before they did it.
