AC appeal

Hi everyone,

I’m curious if anyone here has had experience with Academic Center appeals (particularly Lane Tech).

From what you’ve seen/heard, are appeals ever granted?
Would really appreciate any insight—thank you!

I think that would probably depend a lot on what the basis of your appeal is. Do you mind sharing?

Never heard of anyone appealing, it’s just for cases where you believe CPS didn’t follow their own admissions policies. If your kid was even on the borderline, they’ll likely have plenty of options for high school though.
