Accepted Magnet spot – Now school says they have no spots?

Hi,

We accepted a spot at Thorp for 1st grade this fall, and when we called to ask about enrollment paperwork they told us that there was some sort of glitch and they offered more spots than they had and my daughter might not have a spot anymore! SO furious! They said to call back next week for more info.

Has anyone ever had an experience like this or heard of this happening before? I know this whole CPS system is busted, but this is not OK. We turned down a spot at the Beaubien RGC for this!
