Which one would you prefer and why? My son is on the waitlist #2 of Andrew Jackson and I’ll expect he will get an offer in the next round. If he’ll got an offer, I will need to make a decision. Thanks

Did you get the offer from Jackson yet? My son is on waitlist #1 since last month, didn’t hear from them.

What grade is your son? My son is still currently on the waitlist #2. We haven’t heard any from the school.

We attended STEM K-5
Academics
Diversity
strong at STEM subjectsVery nice kids, not bad bullying stuff, rigorous. Good teachers. 6-8 not as great. No onsite aftercare anymore (they use Park District with a bus), minimal on extra curricular activities or warm fuzzy “extra” amenities that some CPS schools have. Nice parents. Class size 28. Great math, science, computer programming. Other subjects, ok. Small school feel. No foreign language
STEM vs Jackson is a tough call. Jackson has a good community also from what I hear and is well run. Academics slightly weaker
