Former CPS DadGuest
I was where you were for the last time 8 years ago. Before then and for the past few years, I’ve kept a file with all the CPS SEHS cutoff scores from 2011-2012 to current. I think the SEHS process started in 2010-2011.
After sharing this with friends and coworkers and updating it every year, it’s time for me to end. Please download the pdf here:

Good luck this evening. The CPS SEHSs did my daughters well.
And yes, this process is worse than getting into college.

Some things to note for this year, the first year they tested ALL CPS 8th graders via the new High School Admissions Test (HSAT):
In addition to Payton, Northside, Young, Jones and Lane who have all had 900 pt scorers over several years, this year Lindblom and Hancock also have students who had 900 pts and made it their first choice.
Payton and Northside filled 30% of their freshman class with 900 point scorers (entire rank category is filled with 900 pt scores) and Payton had all of Tier 4 (17.5% of freshman class) also filled with 900 pt scorers.
