sorry, trying to get some information about how good this school is, my son was accepted to kindergarten to Healy and I am trying to get any feedback about how good the school is.

I’m also wondering what are people’s thoughts on private school versus public school as well, as I had a chance to visit Bridgeport Catholic Academy and felt it was a great atmosphere for school.

if anyone can help with some feedback of the school that would be great, I do know that its predominantly chinese, which is fine given that I am one, but at the same time I grew up in Cleveland ohio, and well, maybe too much of my own kind isnt necessarily a good thing. At any rate, trying to get other peoples thoughts. Given that the majority are asians, the thought is most of their parents would be involved in the child’s education, and should be good at academics, (but who knows everyone’s household is going to be different)

We attend Healy (2nd grade) and like it. I would recommend you reach out to the principal with questions, she is responsive. It is a well run school that prioritizes academics. They have an in-house comprehensive gifted program that starts in 1st grade. The school does have a lot of Asian kids and celebrates Asian culture but is also very inclusive of kids of all backgrounds.
