Hi Parents,
My Kid got a classical score of
Readding – 98
Math – 90
Tier – 4
I haven’t gotten a single offer.
What are the minimum scores for Skinner West and Skinner North.

Did you apply to any other schools other than the two Skinners? It seems families are getting accepted to selective enrollment schools with scores equal or lower than those. However I’m not sure about the Skinners

I thought rgc and classical schools are the same. So I applied based on distance. Thus applied only for skinners in the classical bucket. Any insight into what scores got accepted into skinners

Hi Pallavi,
My daughter got Reading 98 and Math 89. We are in Tier 4 applying for Kindergarten. We got an offer from Bronzville in first round and declined it. No offers in second round. Got NTA in round 3 and we declined it. Our first choice is Skinner North. My understanding is 99 in both Reading and Math for skinner west for Tier 4.

I spoke to office of enrollment and minimum score required is 75 in Reading and Math for Skinner North. If they have more students with higher score than your child, they will get preference first. So probably you didn’t get offer because cutoff was higher this year.
You can call office of enrollment and file a request to get information. There is link or post on this forum but I can’t locate it.

I have heard of people getting SW or SN with something like 90/98 but that was a couple years ago. Maybe its gotten even more difficult to get in. At K you don’t need 99/99 but you may need an avg of 95 or something for those schools.
