Has anyone seen notice as to when elementary school results and Academic Centers will be out? I have been a CPS parent for a long time, but the past couple of years I feel like the long wait [and now not even publishing a date when offers will be released so we can know to watch for it] has been so tough for families, esp given the school year will now start on August 22nd. …glad the Highschool Round 1 is out at least….

I am wondering the same thing. I keep checking and no information. I’m hoping by 4/1 some dates are at least released.

I’m getting really frustrated with this wait, too! Elementary results have consistently been released about a month after HS results for at least the past six years (I checked…), so it can’t be too much longer, right? I called OAE a week ago and asked if they had any idea on a timeline and they were pretty quick to say April, though they did qualify that it would probably be “late April”. I really wish they’d at least publish a date for Round 1 results.

I am sure it will be earlier than late May (i.e. May 28 I think for 2021) that parents had to wait for during the pandemic. It’s been the same process every year they do not release the Round 1 results date until it’s closer.
Im actually excited it “might” come April. That’s still earlier. I remember 2020 we were told May 8 for elementary and it was pushed out due to issues from HS results released and they messed up some HS schools results. Horrible for those impacted.
I think HS came out early because now the HS entrance exam is administered during school hours in CPS elementary schools & AC. Less scheduling required only need to schedule for non CPS students which made this year’s process faster. As it had been April in the past for HS results.
Now that it’s earlier (or back on time from many years ago) for HS and hopefully elementary – CPS is getting results out before families make decisions on private schools. They were losing students to private with these long waits for results

Yes I just saw! Seems soooo far away!!! Anxiety provoking, but happy there is a date.
