GuestHi all,
I have one kiddo in a RGC, and a Kindergartner who took the test for the same school. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any offers of the two RGCs we listed.
Does anyone know what happens now? We love our neighborhood school so this isn’t the end of the world.
Thanks!

GuestIf the scores were within the qualifying range, you can wait to see if you get a second round offer from one of those schools. I have heard of people getting offered spots even into the first or second week of school as other people move around. So, you can register for your neighborhood school and plan on that for now. You only get taken off the wait list when you accept another selective school offer.

GuestDo you know where the qualifying range is posted? I couldn’t find that for non-kindergarten or AC admission years.

GuestFor RGC a minimum score of 115 is needed. There are other factors like your residential tier and average cutoff scores for different RGC schools.

GuestGoCPS will update their website with a Rd 2 date. You can log into your account and see if you received an offer for the next school on your list. But fyi this time, you might only have a week to accept/decline. Just for reference, in 2020 the results came out in mid-June and last year, it came out in mid-July. Good luck!
