Does anyone know if Skinner West opens more seats for 2nd grade classical? We are wait-list 1
The neighborhood program has been lackluster so far so I want to give the classical program a shot before moving on. Thank you!!

Generally they don’t “open more spots” but sometimes, one or two kids don’t show up in the fall and they don’t tell the school that they are leaving – but the spots can’t be opened until they are sure they are not coming back. Then the school will give Waitlist #1 a spot to replace the kid who has left. We saw this happen in my child’s class, even a few weeks after school had started. I would say, reach out to the principal in the fall, or right before school starts, if you haven’t heard anything.

My child is currently in first grade classical at Skinner West. I can confirm that one student will be leaving after this year, so a spot should open up.

I believe they have taken that into consideration and now it’s completely full. Thanks though
