GuestMy son was offered a spot in our neighborhood’s RGC program (our younger kids are also in the same school and program) and at Taft’s Academic Center for 7th grade. We are very happy with our current school but weighing the AC option. Wondering if anyone had any feedback or thoughts?

GuestThe advantages of AC is that she/he earns high school credits so when they start high school they could graduate early 11th grade , more AP classes, or dual credit at a local college. My son went to a AC and now is now taking AP classes and Precalculus as a freshman.

GuestI go to the Taft AC, just finished 7th grade. I would definitely recommend this school. The new building is modern, teachers are nice, most of them. You can also get high school credit as well. And in high school, take more advanced courses.
