I thought you were able to choose dates in January for the testing for selective enrollment? When I registered my son, the latest dates were in December. Do they add more later?

Yes, they tend to add dates in batches. Remember, though, that your child is scored according to how old they were when they sat for the test, so testing later does not confer any “benefit” in that regard.  Good luck!

Quick question on “your child is scored accordingly to how old they were when they sat for the test”. Is the age based on year + month? Or just year? My son is born in August and thus at the younger age of his class but he does seem to understand advanced concepts and ahead of his age. I’m just worried the kids born earlier will be more advanced and he’ll never be able to compete with them.
