Tiered waitlists???

Hello,

New to all this selective enrollment confusion.

Does anyone know how these waitlists work? Do they take X amount from each tier? As some accept/decline a waitlist offer, will my child’s number show the difference? As if he started at 50 and 35 positions were accepted/declined, will my child’s number now show as 15?

Hi.

I assume u r asking about sehs. Yes basically – but the tiers are still in play.

So if a tier 4 student declines- that spot will be filled with the the highest person on the waitlist that is tier 4.

and again- dependent on school- they may not even go to the waitlist ever.
