The results in my dashboard still say not available, is there a known time these things drop online? Or am I missing something? Is it a phone call/email?

I think that it will be at least a couple of weeks until the next round goes out.

I think it’ll be out today. We got an email from a waitlisted school yesterday that said we’d know where we are on the waitlist “sometime today” also have been refreshing and seeing different screens, so they are def working on it. But with CPS, who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

Will the waitlist numbers be updated? Today, I can see the dashboard. However, the Results section is grayed out and link does not work. The wait continues…

      It’s laughably frustrating!

I just called OAE, and they said that we will receive a call if we have an offer and then they will update the website the next day. If we do not have an offer, we will not see anything on the platform. Beyond frustrating!!!

Not a SEES, but I received an offer from Prescott yesterday that, per their email, I’m supposed to go into the portal to accept/decline and my results section is still grayed out and unclickable, too!

Not sure how this works because I did not get a call or email from a school on our waitlist, however, I see the school listed now as Offerred. We will decline because still waiting on a school closer to home.

Does anyone know how scoring for SEES works for Kinder? We received “no offer” from Skinner North but waitlisted for all RGCs we applied to – Edison, Pritzker, Bell. Is everyone automatically waitlisted? Or would it say no offer if we were ineligible?

i read somewhere you needed at least 115 but we only scored 103.

The SEES rubric says, “Students who score below the median on the admissions test will not be eligible to receive an offer from or join the waitlist of Classical schools or Regional Gifted Centers.” So 103 must be above the median for RGC, but the Classical score isn’t.

        Here’s the rubric: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1t-7bX5zGS0MVz48nn1zKhyVtTSAWeB4n/view?usp=sharing

Does anyone know how to decline an offer at one gifted program for a chance to be at a different gifted program? One of my twins got into Bell gifted and the other into Pritzker gifted. Trying to figure out a way for them to go together. Thanks!

Before declining this offer you should consider what kind of score your kid got and how close it was to the twin’s score.  If the score is even a few points down from the other twin, then unfortunately it isn’t likely you would get them both together.  Going back into the waitlist pool is risky.  People do decline these schools and waitlists move a little, but not a lot probably for those schools….  OAE could answer waitlist questions.  I think if you decline you go back into ‘the pool’ for the remaining schools you wrote down.

#2 tier waitlist for Skinner North kindergarten and #3 tier for Pritzker RGC…should we be optimistic?

What tier are you? Tier 4?
If you are waitlisted #2 for Skinner North, and #3 for Pritzker pretty good chances. Just keep in mind this might change when after they open the lists again….

Thanks for your reply. I believe we are tier 1. We have an offer for a choice school and we really love the private school we currently attend for pre-K. I wish there were an obvious best choice. I think for now waiting and watching the waitlists is our move.

I agree with Val, you have pretty good chances. Good luck 🤞

Like some of the posts above, we’re in a strange situation, and I’d love some advice.

My 4th grade son is at McPherson. He did great on the test and got an offer to Edison. We just accepted.

My 1st grade daughter is neighborhood at Bell. She also did great on the test with a 262.5. She’s #4 on the waitlist at Bell, #5 on the waitlist at Edison, and #1 on the waitlist at McPherson.

From out experience, spots at McPherson generally open up, but we realize we’re unlikely at the other two.

If she gets an offer at McPherson, can we somehow hold off until we find out if she’ll get a later off at Bell or Edison? Or do we only get one chance to accept that offer? I have a feeling there’s a slight chance she might get into Bell or Edison, but it would be later in the summer.

Thanks for all the help you have already offered here!

You will have 2 days to accept/decline the offer once you receive it. You would need to decline the offer or remove yourself completely from a WL at McPherson if you want to wait for Bell/Edison offer, no other options.

I would not expect a rising second grade seat at Edison. There were no leavers in the current 1st grade class. I don’t know everyone, but so far no whispers of moving to the suburbs or leaving for a shorter commute.

I’m still new here. Sorry for basic questions.
I let one of RGC offer expired today. If want to add son’s name on waitlists for other RGC schools, what is next step? Parents portal said “Elementary Rolling Waitlist Opens at 10:00 AM: Apr 27, 2026”
It means I can start add my son’s name on waitlists from 4/27 10am?

      Thanks in advance.

I don’t have an answer, but another question. Since the rolling waitlist hasn’t opened yet, my understanding is that we shouldn’t expect to see current waitlist movement until the ? I am not sure if we should expect any movement after the deadline that passed today. So many moving parts!

There will be no movement until April 27. You can add your son after they open on April 27.
