ParticipantAre any parents of incoming kindergartners that accepted Bronzeville Classical interested in meeting up before the school year starts? We do not know any families that are starting there and I think it would be nice if my son knew at least one person on his first day!

Participant@Froggie Are you able to explain how the accelerations work? Is that for children who are already ahead in certain subjects? Thanks in advance!

Tier 4
Reading: 92
Math: 87I’m a little confused on his RGC score because if I add up the non verbal and verbal scores I get a different number than what they say is his composite score. It was a lot lower than what I had expected (118).

ParticipantHello! I’ve been trying to scour the answer to this question through CPS, but haven’t found an answer, and this group seems to have a wealth of knowledge so.. my son has a September birthday so we were thinking of doing the early kindergarten exam and then ideally the SEES test if he passes. If he doesn’t get good scores on the SEES test can we then decide to hold him back a year and then take the SEES test again when he’s actually 5? Or does he only get one shot at the SEES for kindergarten? Thanks in advance!
