Does anyone know when to expect the RGP wait list to have any sort of movement? I called the hotline earlier this week and am confused by a response from the rep who said that no movement has happened yet since they are waiting on a next batch of testing scores? I thought that the tests were all done months again. Does anyone have any insight here?

The first round of tests were finished months ago. They offer makeup tests for those who were not aware of the regular testing dates or were not able to take them for whatever reason. Unclear if the second round of tests were offered later this year than in previous years.
No offers will be made for SEES until those test results are out. Someone else was told by OAE it would be end of May for the results, then I’m sure it will be several days for those folks to have time to add themselves to waitlists before offers begin.

The spring testing existed last year, the year before, and even before that. We’re really talking about maybe 10 kids per grade total (I was there with my child and saw it myself). For kindergarten, maybe a bit more? I can’t say for sure since I wasn’t there during the K testing sessions.
In previous years, it was never treated as a huge issue. I also think the waitlist opened later back then, so the spring testing results were already available. This year, it feels like either they changed the testing company or simply didn’t align the revised waitlist timeline with the spring testing schedule, which is why everyone is now stuck waiting.
