We are #5 – Tier 1 – waitlisted at Hawthorne for kindergarten. What are the chances we’ll get in?

I don’t know what your chances but I hope high for you! We’re waitlisted in the 30s (tier 2) and heard we have pretty much have zero chance of getting in.

@Christen I think Tier 1 #5 you have pretty good odds actually, just maybe not on the timeline you’d like. Every year is different so it’s hard to tell, but a few years ago we were #10? for proximity at Hawthorne and had friends that were low teens Tier 2. They got called in early summer, we got called two weeks after school had already started.

Thanks! I thought proximity was offered before the tiers, that gives me some hope!
