I would love to hear from parents who have transitioned from Early Intervention into CPS: what the process was like, tips for a successful transition, what school your child is at and how you like it. We are on the northwest side and in boundaries for Stock. My child has significant special needs due to a genetic condition. Thanks!

Hello! No advice to offer as we are looking for the same information, but this is the first time I’ve connected with anyone who has the same questions as I have. I feel hopeful this is a good place to get some answers! We are in the Moos district in Humboldt Park. So much to sort through with the process of applying to any CPS school, then factor in the IEP, it is really a bit overwhelming for me!
